A global achievement: How we won the UiPath HyperHack for the second consecutive time
By transforming processes through hyperautomation and artificial intelligence, our team brought innovation, efficiency, and collaboration to the global stage of UiPath HyperHack.
Participating in a global event—representing our team, our company, and our country—is both a privilege and a challenge in equal measure. Now imagine doing it for the second consecutive year, defending the title won the year before. It sounds like a movie script, but that was exactly the journey of our Hyperautomation team from the Digital Unit in 2024, as we competed in and won the UiPath HyperHack in the “Hunt for the Best COE” category.
This competition, organized by UiPath, aims to recognize the best use of its products to build innovative hyperautomation solutions. Our achievement was the result of intense collaboration across planning, development, testing, and documentation phases.
The Challenge: An AI-Powered Business Automation Use Case
Our challenge was to automate a business process using UiPath products, with a strong focus on AI capabilities. We selected the analysis of movable assets data, a process involving the interpretation of Vehicle Registration Certificates (CRVs) and their input into a local system for downstream analysis.
We chose this use case due to the high document volume, the reliance on manual repetitive work, and the risk of human error during data transcription.
The Solution: How We Structured the Automation
Our automation was designed across three core stages:
1. Demand identification and data collection: Using UiPath Studio Desktop, the bot accessed the source system, retrieved pending requests, and stored CRV documents in the automation platform repository.
2. Document reading and interpretation: Leveraging Document Understanding with AI capabilities, the system extracted and interpreted data with high accuracy. Outputs were sent to UiPath Actions, enabling human validation or correction when required.
3. System processing and update: After validation, the bot automatically populated the target system, completing the end-to-end workflow with speed and reliability.
Results and Benefits Achieved
To monitor performance, we built a UiPath Insights dashboard, enabling real-time visibility for stakeholders. During testing, the bot processed each document in approximately 2 minutes. With an estimated volume of 1,000 items per month, the RPA delivered 166 hours of monthly savings, freeing capacity for higher-value activities.
In addition, automation significantly reduced transcription errors, improving data reliability. It also reshaped daily work for employees, shifting focus from repetitive tasks to more analytical responsibilities, increasing engagement and job satisfaction. The dashboard further enabled bottleneck identification and continuous improvement opportunities.
Final Presentation
The project was presented on December 5th, 2024, in an online global session. In front of an international jury, each team had 7 minutes to present in English and 3 minutes for Q&A. The event brought together participants from multiple countries across three categories and was broadcast to the wider community. Our team delivered not only a high-level technical solution but also benefited from strong support from colleagues and partners throughout the journey.

Winning the UiPath HyperHack for the second consecutive year was an extraordinary milestone that reflects commitment, innovation, and team dedication. It also demonstrates the power of collaboration and continuous learning, showing how intelligent use of technology can transform processes and generate real business value. This achievement not only reinforces our leadership in hyperautomation but also inspires us to keep building more impactful and creative solutions for future challenges.
