01. Problem

The original Sou Log+ portal operated on a legacy system that limited update agility and the scalability required for Ticket Log’s growth. Fleet managers needed a more fluid tool to handle critical tasks such as balance distribution and real-time policy deviation monitoring.
Additionally, there was a challenge in unifying the experience across different customer profiles while supporting multi-country operations, including multilingual and multi-currency environments, without disrupting a platform that is critical to the daily logistics of thousands of vehicles.

02. Assessment

DB’s analysis showed that a big-bang migration would introduce significant operational risk. The assessment recommended a strangler pattern approach, gradually moving functionality to a new Azure-based architecture while legacy systems continued to run non-migrated components.
It also identified the need for a user-centric interface where accessibility is not an add-on but a core UX principle, ensuring full digital inclusion across user profiles.

03. Solution

Working in two-week Scrum and Kanban sprints, DB built an orchestration layer to seamlessly bridge the legacy system and the new architecture. The solution adopted a reactive backend using Java Spring WebFlux and MongoDB, paired with a modern Angular frontend, fully deployed on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
Design Thinking was used to validate the visual and interaction design, while accessibility QA was performed by visually impaired specialists to ensure true inclusive usability.
CI/CD pipelines on Azure DevOps enabled continuous integration and delivery with full traceability, ensuring a stable, production-grade transition from legacy to cloud-native architecture.
